Terms of Service

Last updated: May 10, 2026

Agreement

By creating an account or using findmeidea (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

findmeidea is operated by an independent solo developer. The Service is currently in beta.

What findmeidea Is

findmeidea is a tool that:

  • Scrapes publicly available Reddit posts and scores them as potential business opportunities
  • Uses AI to generate SaaS product ideas and blueprints based on those pain points
  • Provides trends, analytics, and filtering tools to help founders identify problems worth solving

findmeidea is a research and ideation tool. We make no guarantees about the commercial viability of any idea, pain point, or blueprint generated by the Service.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or use the Service to circumvent plan limits.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute the pain points, scores, or blueprints from findmeidea in bulk
  • Use the Service to build a competing product that resells our data
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, plan restrictions, or authentication
  • Use automated tools to access the Service at a scale beyond normal human usage
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Plans and Billing

findmeidea offers a free plan and paid subscription plans billed monthly. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may change with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry. If it remains unpaid, your account will be downgraded to the free plan.

Reddit Data and AI Content

Pain points displayed on findmeidea are derived from publicly available Reddit posts. The underlying post content belongs to the original authors and Reddit. findmeidea adds scoring, categorisation, and AI-generated analysis on top of this data.

AI-generated blueprints and analyses are created by Claude (Anthropic) based on the pain point content. They are provided for informational and ideation purposes only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not treat them as legal, financial, or business advice.

You own the notes and decisions you make based on findmeidea content — but we do not assign exclusive rights to any AI-generated blueprint, as similar outputs may be generated for other users.

Intellectual Property

The findmeidea product, brand, scoring methodology, and original written content are owned by findmeidea. You may not reproduce or resell them without permission.

Reddit post content remains the property of Reddit and its users. We display it under fair use for research and educational purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of pain point scores, or the commercial viability of any idea surfaced by the tool. Use your own judgement before building a product based on findmeidea data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, findmeidea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to paid features ends immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll notify you by email or in-app notification for material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which findmeidea is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
